The idea behind Aye Kabar Residence is bringing back the classics into the mix of the usual contemporary theme. The classical components such as arch shape openings, moldings, decorative balcony handrails are mixed with the contemporary features such as timber louvres and full height aluminum frame windows on the external facade.
The interior layout planning of units are designed with contemporary theme to provide modern daily lifestyle. The site was a conventional thin and long shape so it was an important factor in planning the rooms efficiently to give the best function. The base idea was to have natural ventilation in all the rooms possible: living/dining, kitchen, bedrooms and toilet. This was achieved by having air space voids across the buildings which give space for windows and openings, which also gives depth on the exterior perspective.
